Equine Assisted Therapy

Our centre currently provides support to a wide range of adults and children on a weekly basis through our Equine Assisted Therapy sessions. We have children who attend our equine sessions seeking relief from exam pressure, dealing with bullying at school, coping with anxiety and depression, non-verbal ASD, PTSD, neurodevelopmental disorders, drug and alcohol misuse, involvement in county lines, eating disorders and much more…

We work with adults and children from supported living accommodations, children in foster care, and parents who reach out to us directly.

We are proud to share some heartwarming success stories of the young people who have participated in our sessions, some of whom have now even transitioned to volunteering within our riding centre.

Our team, (humans and horses), are specially chosen and trained to have a heightened awareness of and ability to respond to the emotions of  people in need of our support.. Through a series of planned activity and  constructive feedback, we enable young people to reflect on and discuss their behaviour in order to build successful relationships with the horses and ultimately their peers, families, employers and communities.
